Coaching
Petts Wood Bowling Club benefits from Coaches qualified at various levels via the English Bowls Coaching Society (EBCS). See the club fixtures booklet for their names.
- Level 1: Following successful completion of this Award individuals can work unsupervised.
- Level 2: Once an individual has successfully completed the Level Two Award they are able to provide coaching courses suitable for players wishing to develop their skills.
- Level 3: At this Level you will be involved not only in coaching players but also coaching and assessing those who wish to become Level 1 and Level 2 coaches.
- Advanced: In addition the above, Advanced Coaches may:
- Train Level 3 Coaches;
- Take seminars;
- Be invited to be a member of the National Training Team;
- and lead teams at events etc
From time to time the Club Coaches arrange a number of sessions for club members in addition to individual coaching.
